Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Children's Book Award

The winner of the 2006 Ruth and Sylvia Schwartz Children’s Book Award in the category of young adult/middle reader goes to Kenneth Oppel for Skybreaker published by HarperCollins Canada while Marie-Louise Gay won the picture-book category for Caramba published by Groundwood Books.
